We inform the audience that, due to a change in availability of M° Gardiner, the meeting forecasted for Saturday 15 June at 11.00 is rescheduled to Friday 14 June 2024, h. 11.00 in Ridotto.
WAITING FOR MONTEVERDI FESTIVAL
Concerts and meetings awaiting the Monteverdi Festival 2024. Among the events that anticipate the inauguration of the Festival, the grandiose Vespro della Beata Vergine, a milestone in Monteverdi's production, in the Church of San Marcellino on Wednesday 29 May at 9pm. The concert will be admission free (assigned seating), as a tribute from the Festival to the city and the people of Cremona.
OPERA
Two new Monteverdi's Operas productions: L'Orfeo, the first masterpiece in the history of melodrama, with the musical direction of Francesco Corti and the direction of Olivier Fredj and the Polittico Monteverdiano, a project that celebrates 400 years since the first performance of Il Combattimento di Tancredi and Clorinda, staging the most beautiful madrigals in representative style. Antonio Greco will be the conductor at the harpsichord with direction by Roberto Catalano.
CONCERTS
Eight unmissable concerts in the most beautiful churches, theaters and historic buildings of the city, with some of the most prestigious artists in the world of the baroque repertoire.
MONTEVERDI INCURSIONS
Under the name of MONTEVERDINCURSIONI, in some historical, religious and civil places of the city, precious musical events are held, in the company not only of the music of Claudio Monteverdi, but also of that of other composers connected to him by places, periods, productions, similar musical experiences. Programs featuring instrumental and vocal ensembles with refined interpreters and musicians specializing in the ancient repertoire.

MONTEVERDI NIGHT
Monteverdi as you have never seen, heard and savoured before. Unusual proposals in historic places with invaluable artistic and cultural value to experience and listen to a nocturnal Monteverdi.
MONTEVERDI EVERYWHERE
The MONTEVERDIDAPPERTUTTO cycle wants to bring the music of Claudio Monteverdi to some symbolic places of the Cremona community. We have defined three places: the social one, the work one, the care one. The music of the Holy Claudio will thus accompany the workers of a local company, the guests and healthcare workers of a facility dedicated to care and those of Cremona prison.
MONTEVERDI EXPERIENCE
On the occasion of the Monteverdi Festival 2024, it will be possible in collaboration with CrArt (Cremona Art and Tourism) to discover Cremona and its artistic, musical and culinary beauties.
Thanks to tours designed specifically for the entire period of the Festival, it will be possible to be fascinated by the city that gave birth to the Divine Claudio.
MONTEVERDI ACADEMY
Antique Music Master Workshop. At the conclusion of the project, the Ensemble will hold a series of concerts.
