MEETING CENTRO STUDI MONTEVERDIANI

The MONTEVERDIANI STUDY CENTER was established in 2021 with the aim of deepening the entire repertoire left and found by Claudio Monteverdi, from the performance practice and organological research point of view. Even if the Festival will consist of several per formative languages, music will certainly remain the central element around which all the activity will develop. For this reason it was necessary to create a study centre able to coordinate the festival, offering scientific and competent support. The Study Centre is composed of: A. Ponchielli Theatre Foundation, Department of Musicology, MdV-Violin Museum, Costanzo Porta Association, and  collaborates with external experts “ad hoc” chosen on the base of the festival activity.
