MONTEVERDIJAM

At Monteverdi Festival, this year, you can perform too. 

Thanks to the initiative “MonteverdiJam” promoted in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Cremona, will be arranged a free space for Performing Arts in the centre of Cremona where musicians, dancers, actors and performers will have the opportunity to exhibit.

The 2021 edition will be open to professional and not professional artists, experimenting and proposing all the performing arts so that Monteverdi Festival can be identified as open event, rich of several occasions, able to animate the town with different cultural exhibitions.

This initiative will be from June 18th till June 27th, from 11 to 13 and from 16 to 18.

The performative space that will be made available will be near Cortile Federico II and the size will be 4M x 4M; all performances will be acoustic without the possibility of using amplification and the duration of the performances cannot exceed 30 minutes. The proposals must be connected to the figure of Monteverdi and will be evaluated by the artistic direction of the festival.

The theatre will be in charge for the booking of the performing spaces and the relevant input in the Festival daily programme, so as to promote the performances on its social media.
