Arianna is a legendary myth that will never die. Daughter of Minos, imprisoned in the labyrinth and protected by her brother Minotaur. She betrays her family, abandons her country, and falls in love with the Athenian hero Theseus, hoping one day to become Queen of Athens. But Theseus will abandon her on the island of Naxos to die… Cremona Antiqua led by Antonio Greco will perform beautiful cantatas by Marcello, Handel and Scarlatti, all dedicated to this fragile and shining character.
