The project, conceived by the Institute of Cremona, grows in the partnership between the Cremona Institute itself, the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and Mantua Music Conservatory. The aim was the staging of ‘Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda’ and ‘Ballo delle Ingrate’. Both will be performed in Monteverdi’s historical places, such as Cremona, Mantua and Venice. The workshop has been opened to young students and newly graduated people from the three institutions involved. Set designers, producers, costume-designers, opéra singers and musicians has had the opportunity to get a deeper knowledge of the Baroque show attending lessons and participating in each phase of staging and artistic set-up and in the final performance.
